As University Police finalizes the Emergency Response Plan, University Communications is developing a crisis communications plan. This plan will detail what the University community can expect from our office and explain our internal process during crisis situations.
Once finalized, this plan will be shared with the University community and the public.
In the event of a campus-wide emergency, the University of Richmond has a comprehensive communication system in place—UR Alert—to send emergency messages via voice, text, and email to faculty, staff, and students. This system will only be used for emergency communications.
